The Fatherhood Matters program is a supportive resource designed to uplift and educate non-custodial fathers, focusing on healthy parent-child relationships, self-care, and modeling responsibility. Through a 10-week workshop series, the program offers fathers a knowledge and skill-based certificate in effective parenting and co-parenting.
Dedicated Fatherhood case managers assist and empower fathers, providing guidance as they navigate child support, public benefits, employment, and child visitation. Fatherhood Matters also offers ongoing support to program alumni who wish to help other fathers. The program aims to highlight the importance of fatherhood and empower fathers to actively participate in their children's lives.
